Daniel Chuang

Daniel Chuang has worked at MIT since 2000. He has a 6th degree black belt in taekwondo and teaches Sport Taekwondo through the Physical Education & Wellness department. Daniel also is the coach of the MIT Sport Taekwondo Club, which is one of the largest club sports on campus. Outside of MIT, Daniel is a full-time engineer and operates a taekwondo school in Cambridge, MA. He also serves as the head coach of the U.S. National Taekwondo Poomsae Team. Besides coaching and training in taekwondo, Daniel loves reading, playing tennis and traveling. His favorite part of teaching at MIT is seeing students try martial arts for the first time and seeing them do something they didn’t think they could do.
